Jera’le Smith has a proven track record of leadership in manufacturing plants throughout her career.  Ms Smith specializes in reviewing manufacturing systems to identify potential failure modes and create systems and inspections commensurate with the associated occurrence and risk levels. 

Her most recent tenure was in a contract manufacturing organization (CMO) that produced oral solid dosage units for the Dietary Supplement (DS) and OTC Drug industries.  Working with this company from its inception, she drove quality implementation and saw the company grow and complete three acquisitions.

As a company executive, she oversaw all facets of the Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Regulatory Affairs departments, steering the successful implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) within a regulated environment.  

Ms Smith has vast personal experience hosting FDA audits and communicating with their organization.  She secured facility and product certifications such as NSF (OTC & DS), UL, USP and GRMA, Organic, Kosher, Halal, Gluten Free, and Non-GMO.  

Notably, she holds the distinction of being the first individual in the U.S. to complete the NFS-DBA Dietary Supplement Quality Professional certification, underscoring the depth and breadth of her qualifications. Coupled with PCQI certification and ASQ Senior membership, her credentials attest to a career marked by continuous learning and mastery.  

Beyond certifications, Ms. Smith has successfully implemented enterprise resource planning (ERP) software at multiple facilities and spearheaded various departments associated with the manufacturing process such as packaging, maintenance, and inventory.
